Jeff Gannon (not Ganon) is a very, very bad person

Why did Jeff Gannon, conservative ex-reporter and gay porno website operator, spend so much time at the White House?

"Guckert made more than two dozen excursions to the White House when there were no scheduled briefings. "

And why is he not currently on trial for failing to provide the identity of the person who leaked a CIA agent's (Valerie Plame's) name?

"At some point during the week leading up to October 28th, Gannon interviews Wilson by phone. The contents of that interview are astonishing.

TN: An internal government memo prepared by U.S. intelligence personnel details a meeting in early 2002 where your wife, a member of the agency for clandestine service working on Iraqi weapons issues, suggested that you could be sent to investigate the reports. Do you dispute that?"

Other people are.

And, for that matter, why is Bob Novak not in jail for not disclosing his source in the CIA or the administration?

"I think the fact that Novak continues to be run in 360 newspapers more than a year after this column ran printing Valerie Plame's name and that virtually no one has raised any questions about the propriety of what he did is surprising and quite disappointing."

The Moon Rules

Camp site on Ingalls Creek.

Debris flow stream.

Douglas fir in the way.

A new channel.

For scale.

Raging river.

Cool belt, cool hip-pack.

That penguin has a gun.
