Cellforcash.com should be called falsecellpromises.com

cellforcash.com = sleazy business. I sent them my old, but entirely working cell phone, for which they promised me $5. They said they received it, but the screen was broken. I argued that no, it was not and miraculously their tech's 'fixed' it - i.e. they turned it on. There are other companies that do the same thing - I would take my business there.

Here's the transaction:

I just had our techs re-test the phone and they were able to fix it. You will be paid in full. Thank you!

Melissa, the screen was fine the day I sent it in - I turned it on and it displayed "Insert SIM card" quite well. Could you elaborate about what is wrong with it? Does that mean that it has dust inside or has a single dead pixel?
Sincerely,

Good Afternoon,
The Sony Ericsson that you sent in has a bad LCD. Our techs were unable to repair it, therefore we are not able to pay you for it. We can recycle the phone for you, or send it back to you at your expense. If I do not hear from you in 2 business days, I will assume that the offer is acceptable, and that the non valued phone will be recycled.
